Nick completed his studies in 2012 at Australian College of Sports Therapy and has been part of our D.O.C team for 8 years now.
While completing his studies Nick was working at a nursing home providing soft tissue therapy to elderly patients in the community, which allowed him to gain the valuable experience about elderly and chronic conditions.
Nick has been refining his Sports Injury skills working across different sporting codes– North Melbourne Football Club (AFL), Melbourne Rebels (Rugby Union), Melbourne City FC (A-League) over the last 8 years. For the last 3 years Nick has been in charge of Soft Tissue Therapy at Melbourne Football Club.
Being involved with professional athletes allows Nick to further expand his knowledge and skills and get a better understanding of sports injuries and the rehabilitation process.
All the experience in the past has given Nick a great understanding of different age groups and he is now able to help anyone with the appropriate treatment.
Nick has always had a strong interest in biomechanics of the body, posture, core balance and nutrition which allows him not to only treat the symptoms but also to help with prevention so patients are getting the most out of their daily activities.
Nick believes a lot of the times the source of pain is poorly recognised and he believes Myotherapy treatments can recognise and treat the source of pain using different musculoskeletal techniques.
For appointments Nick is available every Sunday.
