Mia’s passion for osteopathy began from a young age where she was always interested in health and sports. While growing up Mia participated in basketball, football and netball. Initially, Mia had a vested interest in sports and managing sporting injuries which drew her towards osteopathy. As she progressed through her osteopathic studies Mia’s interests widened. Mia enjoys treating a range of age groups and conditions as her main focus is to assist patients in returning to their activities of daily living and hobbies. The most rewarding aspect of being an osteopath is enabling patients to be pain free and achieve their goals, big or small.
Mia utilises a range of techniques however will individualise her treatment based on what the patients’ needs are. Mia will work with patients to achieve their goals through manual therapy, rehabilitation programs, supporting lifestyle changes and evaluating what other factors may be contributing to the patient’s pain.
When Mia isn’t treating patients she enjoys going to brunch with her family, friends and jack Russell puppy!
