Andrew is a qualified and experienced Remedial Massage Therapist whose treatments are focused on assessing the body as a whole and assisting the bodies’ design and function to aid in performance, recovery, injury prevention and treatment of injuries. After training with one of the world’s leading massage therapists, Andrew has developed a unique treatment style specialising in the treatment of Osteitis Pubis, Plantar Fasciitis, Achilles tendon injuries and other common sporting injuries.
In Andrew’s six years as a massage therapist he has provided treatment to a large number of Australian and International distance runners, netballers, cyclists and triathletes. This includes travelling overseas to provide treatment at training camps and competitions assisting their preparation for events including Olympics, World Championships and Commonwealth Games.
Andrew comes from a running background, having competed as an elite distance runner for 10 years. Andrew represented Australia on a number of occasions as a junior at the Youth Olympics and as a senior athlete in the Chiba Ekiden in Japan. His interest in massage started whilst training at the Australian Institute of Sport where he learnt self-massage and some other basic massage techniques.
