Elle joined the D.O.C team in 2011 after working in Newcastle, NSW for three years. Elle brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in an Osteopathic sense – as well as her many stories from travelling abroad.
Elle graduated from RMIT University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Applied Science, followed by a Masters of Osteopathy, which included a thesis on the effects of Osteopathic treatment on pulmonary function in asthmatic patients.
After graduating, Elle moved to Newwy to work specifically within a clinic environment that focused on paediatric and obstetric Osteopathic care. Although she treated a wide range of patients, from one day old newborn to 96, Elle’s interest in paediatrics and obstetrics grew. Elle has since undertaken courses in both of these areas as well as returning to further her knowledge in 2011 by undertaking a Graduate Certificate in Neonatal and Infant Paediatric Manual Therapy at Victoria University.
Elle also enjoys treating whole families, from grandparents to their grandchildren. She has been known to fill up an entire day of treating with one whole family. She finds that using a variety of Osteopathic techniques, according to the individual, ensures the best outcomes for her patients. Elle is also passionate about helping patients manage their own health, either through exercise, nutritional advice or enlisting various other practitioners and treatments.
Outside of work, Elle spends most of her time travelling, swimming at the beach, listening to music and having amazing dinners with friends.
Elle’s smile and giggles from her treatment room contribute to our friendly vibe at our Doncaster Wellness Clinic.
